Functionality that ExamView users know and love is now available in TurningPoint! And our TurningPoint users benefit from new ways to enrich their content.

Question information – The standards option has been renamed and expanded functionality to support many default categories.  These categories can be tagged on any question and utilized for reporting as well as the question list creation wizard.

Rationale –  Add instructor notes and reasoning to each question in the content editor.  Rationale can be viewed within the content editor as well as the instructor copy of the question list print view.

Question list builder – Updates to our question list wizard allows you to create content in new ways.  Not only can you create questions list from scratch, but you now have the ability to generate new question lists from existing ones!

• By question information: Target specific questions based on criteria associated to a question across multiple lists.
• While Viewing: Select desired questions from a list view to add to a new question list.
• Randomly: Randomly select any number of questions to be placed in the new question list.

Improved ExamView content support – TurningPoint now support importing both ExamView test and bank files.  Improvements have also been made to the conversion process for better compatibility within TurningPoint.

Introducing the new Hotspot question type!
Now you can ask questions regarding a displayed image and participants respond by selecting a hotspot on the image. Hotspot questions can test your audience’s expertise or break the ice during a presentation. Mobile device or browser response required for this question type. (8.7)

Clicker chat now disabled
Utilizing the chat feature among clicker users will be turned off by default, but can be turned back on within TurningPoint settings at any time. Disabling this feature by default minimizes the chance participants will use it to respond. Mobile response chat will not be affected. (8.7)

Text only display for mobile response users is now the default
Mobile response users will now only receive the question text rather than a slide rendering. This setting is a more efficient and faster way to deliver content to participants. (8.7)
