January 2020 saw the release of a new feature in our web-based platform: Gradebook view. The new tool, much-requested by our clients, gives instructors the ability to view individual as well as cumulative scores for each participant over time.
Gradebook view is perfect for tracking the progress of individuals or the class as a whole. To access the gradebook view, once you have logged into your account, just select a course and then click on the results tab at the top of the page.
The scores are organized in a grid that includes every session within a course. This allows instructors to see points earned through TurningPoint questions at-a-glance for every student on their roster, and gives them the ability to edit points by simply clicking on the number and making any necessary adjustments.
Instructors can also re-name sessions by hovering over the session heading and clicking on the pencil icon, and sort columns by clicking on the participant, score or session heading at the top of the table.
TurningPoint web also offers more detailed reports with data about each individual session. To access these reports, once you are at the gradebook view, click on the sessions tab, click on the reports button for the appropriate session and then choose to view reports by session, question or participant.
